Students from 16 area middle schools will gather at Penn State Harrisburg’s Capital Union Building for the 35th annual MATHCOUNTS competition on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Penn State Harrisburg hosted the eighth annual South Central PA Robotics Competition Nov. 17, in the first floor hallway of the Educational Activities Building on campus.
Penn State Harrisburg recently presented Alumni Achievement Awards to one graduate of each of the five academic schools who demonstrates outstanding professional accomplishment. The awards were presented during a ceremony on campus on Sept. 21. Awardees included Stephen Guillard, Judy Hricak, William Pugh, Jay Spector and Susan Steele.

Dr. Grady Mathews, assistant professor of civil engineering in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology, will present "Utilization of Waste Products in Construction Materials" on Wednesday, September 12 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge on campus.
Students from Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology, participated at the annual Institute of Electronic and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) Region 2 Student Activities Conference, hosted by The University of Pittsburgh on April 6 through 8.
