The Center for Signal Integrity at Penn State Harrisburg will host the 17th annual Combined Central Pennsylvania Symposium on Signal Integrity and Mid Atlantic Semiconductor Hub Forum on April 19 in the Capital Union Building on campus.

Penn State Harrisburg and Penn State College of Medicine have announced a new initiative to support interdisciplinary research projects in health and medicine. The Penn State Inter-Campus Health and Medicine Research Program aims to enhance research capabilities across multiple locations, leverage diverse expertise and resources, and promote the translation of research findings into clinical practice and community health.
Representatives from Penn State Harrisburg and Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology this week celebrated the signing of a new articulation agreement between the two institutions. The agreement allows a smooth transition for students who complete two of Thaddeus Stevens College’s programs to enroll in a four-year degree in two of Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering and Technology bachelor programs.
High school students currently in grade 10 or 11 are invited to apply for Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology free two-week STEM Summer Enrichment Program (STEM-SEP). The deadline to apply is 5 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 23.
With the goal of alleviating uncertainties around smart power grids, the Appalachian Regional Commission has provided a collaboration of universities — including Penn State researchers — across multiple states with $10 million to develop and deploy services that enable electric utility companies and energy tech startups to model and test different scenarios before implementation.
Purav Patel will receive his master of science in information systems at Penn State Harrisburg’s fall 2023 commencement ceremony. Penn State Harrisburg has named six graduates to represent each academic school and graduate studies as student marshals for the fall 2023 commencement ceremony. The graduates will bear the banners representing each academic school and, together with the faculty marshals, lead the graduating students during the commencement processional.
Harrisburg student Griffen Martello spent the summer conducting research through the Multi-Campus Research Experience for Undergraduates program. The program allows undergraduate students to conduct a research project in conjunction with a faculty member from their home campus and one from University Park.
