University Police and Public Safety

The Department of University Police and Public Safety is staffed with sworn police officers and civilian personnel charged with the responsibility of providing a safe environment to the campus community. The police officers of the department enforce state laws as well as University rules and regulations.

Report a Crime

To report a crime to University Police, call 911 or call Penn State Harrisburg Police at 717-948-6232. Additionally, you may file a crime report online. 

Report a Campus Safety Concern

Report any non-criminal campus safety concerns online. All reports will be reviewed by Penn State Harrisburg’s Safety Committee.

Report a Behavioral Threat

If you feel that a member of the campus community (visitor, student, staff, or faculty) presents behavior that is aggressive, disruptive, dangerous, or threatening to the health and safety of him/herself or others, contact the Behavioral Threat Management Team at 855‑863‑BTMT (2868) or 814‑863‑BTMT (2868).
