From time to time, family and friends coordinate with the Development Office to accept gifts in memory or in honor of someone special to them.
Cody Charles Mullen, of Harrisburg, PA, was a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend. His life will forever hold a place in our hearts. Cody was a gifted and dedicated scholar. He was on the Dean's list at Penn State Harrisburg and the Vice President of the Civil Engineering Club. As a talented musician, he played the saxophone in the Concert Band. Cody's passion for engineering and love of education is one of his many traits we will forever hold dear.
In honor of this trait, his family would like to offer financial assistance to other Penn State engineering students who appreciate the gift of education. We hope that the pain we feel from losing our dear Cody will be eased by giving to other students who share his love of learning. Thank you to all who donate in his name. It is truly a fitting and generous tribute to a beloved student of engineering.
Cody’s family has selected the Robert D. Plakus Scholarship in Environmental Engineering at Penn State Harrisburg as the fund that will accept gifts in Cody’s memory. This scholarship supports undergraduate students majoring in or planning to major in Civil Engineering, who have demonstrated superior academic success and have financial need.
