The Capital Village Housing area offers various room types for first-year students. All residential students have access to the Community Center, which offers a lounge area and pool table, ping pong table, meeting space, and Residence Life offices. Many programs and events occur in the Community Center for residential students. Classrooms, the library, athletic fields, the gymnasium, and other campus facilities are all within a short walk away. Parking is also conveniently located close by.

Nittany Village, purchased in December 2018, is the newest on-campus residential area at Penn State Harrisburg. Three buildings - Falcon Hall (formerly Nittany A), Signal Hall (formerly Nittany B), and Talon Hall (formerly Nittany C) - house 260 first-year and upper-class students in single-bedroom 4-person apartments.
