Morçöl’s book brings fresh insight to public policy

Göktuğ Morçöl, associate professor of public administration and policy, has authored A Complexity Theory for Public Policy, a book that introduces practical application of complexity theory into the field of public policy. Published by Routledge, the book brings new perspectives into understanding the characteristics of complex policy systems.

Parking on campus

Students, faculty, and staff who park on campus must register their vehicle(s) with the Vehicle Registration Office.  Parking permits may be obtained online or in person at the Vehicle Registration Office in the Susquehanna Building.

The campus parking permit is valid in any campus parking lot but is not valid in restricted parking spaces, such as visitor parking or Maintenance and Operation parking. Handicapped parking is also available at each building.

Robert Zausner, author of this year's Common Reading Program book for first-year students, will speak on campus Thursday, Sept. 20 from noon-1:00 p.m. and also from 6:00-7:00 p.m. in Capital Union Building, room 210.

Why We Dance: The Story of THON

Screening and reception for THON documentary Sept. 23

An advanced screening of the 60-minute documentary “Why We Dance: The Story of THON” will be held in Penn State Harrisburg’s Capital Union Building (CUB) Gymnasium on Sunday, Sept. 23 beginning at 2:00 p.m. The film, produced by Penn State Public Broadcasting, explores THON, a 46-hour, philanthropic dance marathon with more than 700 annual dancers and 15,000 student organizers.
