Campus road closure

Penn State Harrisburg will close 1st Street on campus from November 18 through 27 for the installation of the gas main for the Student Enrichment Center project.

The road will be closed from O Street to the intersection of University Drive near the Science and Technology building.  Signage will be provided to detour traffic around the closed section of road.

Graduation Fair November 3

Penn State Harrisburg will hold a Graduation Fair on Tuesday, November 3 from noon to 6 p.m. in the Olmsted Building lobby on campus. Students graduating fall 2015 are invited to stop by and learn more about the commencement ceremony.

Panel to discuss supply chains and the global economy

Penn State Harrisburg will present an Academic Perspectives on Currents Events panel titled “The Global Economy and its Dependency on Fragile Supply Chains” on Wednesday, November 4, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge on campus.

Study tours provide educational travel opportunities

Penn State Harrisburg’s International Study Tours provide students an exciting opportunity to travel the world and learn about different countries through first-hand experience.

In spring 2016, Penn State Harrisburg is offering study tours to Spain, Greece, London, India, and Peru.

Garrett EVAN BANE Thompson to present “Sustainability: Outside the Box”

To kick off Penn State Harrisburg’s 2015-16 academic year “Sustainability” lecture series, Garrett EVAN BANE Thompson will present “Sustainability:  Outside the Box,” a performance and discussion that focuses on the global impact of music, its sustainability from one continent to another through multiple music genres, and how it is presented today as “hip hop.”
