Caitlin Black and Kathryn Holmes, doctoral students in the American studies program in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Humanities, have been recognized by the University for outstanding achievement.
Freshman student Emily Dempsey, who is majoring in secondary education (with a concentration in English instruction) and minoring in creative writing, won the 2018 Academy of American Poets Prize with her poem “Saturn Devours His Son.”

Kristen Radtke, an award winning author, will present her graphic memoir “Imagine Wanting Only This” on Monday, April 2 from 6 to 7 p.m. in the library’s Morrison Gallery on campus.
