As part of the Penn State Harrisburg Center for Holocaust and Jewish Studies speaker series, Dani Schrire will discuss “Folklore and Discontinuity: Studying Folklore in Palestine after the Shoah” on Tuesday, February 10 at noon in the library Morrison Gallery on campus.

Dr. Lei Cai, senior lecturer of sociology at Wuhan University, Hubei Province, People's Republic of China has joined Penn State Harrisburg’s American studies program as an International Resident Scholar. Her tenure began in January 2015 and will continue until the end of December 2015.
Students from 18 area middle schools will gather at Penn State Harrisburg’s Capital Union Building for the 31st annual MATHCOUNTS competition on Saturday, February 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
A nationwide program that involves more than 500,000 sixth, seventh, and eighth grade students, MATHCOUNTS is designed to build mathematics skills, promote strategic problem solving, and instruct students in dealing with complex problems.

Penn State Harrisburg will hold a Graduate School Open House on Thursday, February 5 at 6 p.m. in the campus library.
