Penn State Harrisburg began transforming an existing natural grass field into a synthetic, multiuse NCAA Division III field in 2018, with the first phase completed in 2020. Phase II of this project, a $2M investment, is currently underway, enhancing the field’s functionality and spectator experience.
Phase II Highlights
- Spectator Seating: Approximately 750 seats

- Field House: Includes public restrooms, team meeting space, and athletic storage
- Parking Lot Expansion:
- Located adjacent to the Educational Activities Building (EAB) South
- More than doubles existing parking capacity
- Improves pedestrian safety and access for buses and larger vehicles
Anticipated Completion
- Parking Lot: Fall 2024
- Bleachers, Press Box, and Field House: Spring 2025
