The  certification program in 4-8 Mathematics is designed for an individual who holds a baccalaureate degree and wishes to become certified to teach at the middle level (grades 4-8) in Pennsylvania schools, with a specialty in mathematics. Students who successfully complete the program requirements will be recommended for the Grades 4-8 (4-6, Mathematics 7-8): Instructional I teaching certificate. 

The program is approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education.
