9/25: Penn State COVID-19 dashboard updated

Penn State released its preliminary coronavirus testing results for the period of Sept. 18 to 24 on its COVID-19 dashboard today (Sept. 25). Among students tested at the University Park campus whose test results have been received, Penn State received 418 positive results from its on-demand testing and 19 positive results from its random testing program.

9/22: COVID-19 dashboard updated with preliminary results from weekend testing

Penn State has updated its public COVID-19 dashboard with the University's on-demand testing and random testing results from tests administered during the period of Sept. 18 to 20, as well as new University testing results from the prior week. These numbers are evolving as many test results are still pending, which will then be validated and uploaded.

These numbers are evolving as it can take up to 48 hours for test results to be received, which then are validated and uploaded.

Food Services launches Penn State Eats mobile ordering

Last week, Penn State’s Food Services launched Penn State Eats mobile ordering. The new mobile ordering system, integrated through the recently launched Penn State Go app, under the Dining tab. The new mobile ordering app allows students, faculty, staff and guests the option to order food from their mobile devices, providing them with a cashless and contactless food service experience.

Penn State Harrisburg return to campus: What to expect

Penn State Harrisburg has been actively planning and working toward a safe return to campus this fall following the move to remote learning in spring 2020 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The campus community can expect a number of changes as they return to campus, such as classroom setups and signage that promote social distancing, as well as plastic barriers and other changes designed to support the health, safety, and well-being of students, faculty and staff.

Penn State has launched an integrated effort to remind faculty, staff and students at all campuses and in adjacent communities of the importance of doing their part to limit the spread of COVID-19. “Mask Up or Pack Up” is a research-based campaign that is also launched in State College to create a seamless message for students and other members of the community.
