Tolay to discuss European refugee crisis

Dr. Juliette Tolay, assistant professor of political science in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Public Affairs, will present “Is there a European refugee crisis? A conversation on the context of contemporary human mobility” on Wednesday, October 14 from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge.

Additional contributions will be made by Dr. Martha Strickland, associate professor of education in the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education; and Mr. Paul Thompson, JD, LLM, a senior lecturer in homeland security in the School of Public Affairs.

Tolay’s research interests include Turkish politics, immigration and asylum, and foreign policies. Her teaching interests include European and Middle Eastern politics, international relations, and comparative politics.
