University Police and Public Safety

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Please note that Police Services operates 24 hours/day, 365 days/year.

The Department of University Police and Public Safety is staffed with sworn police officers and civilian personnel charged with the responsibility of providing a safe environment to the campus community. The police officers of the department enforce state laws as well as University rules and regulations.

Report a Crime

To report a crime to University Police, call 911. Additionally, you may file a crime report online. 

Report a Campus Safety Concern

Report any non-criminal campus safety concerns online. All reports will be reviewed by Penn State Harrisburg’s Safety Committee.

Report a Behavioral Threat

Call 911 if you feel that a member of the campus community (visitor, student, staff, or faculty) presents behavior that is aggressive, disruptive, dangerous, or threatening to the health and safety of him/herself or others. Once the immediate incident is resolved, the Behavioral Threat Management Team may be contacted.
