Program Proposals

Undergraduate program proposals and graduate program proposals are submitted electronically through the Curriculum Management System(CIM).

Undergraduate Program Proposal Development

  1. Discuss the program proposal with your program chairs, program coordinators, school director, and relevant faculty members. A curricular program prospectus must always precede the development and submission of an undergraduate program proposal (this must be conducted for both new programs and program changes). The Stephanie Ponnett ([email protected]) will submit the undergraduate prospectus information on behalf of the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs. Please contact Stephanie for the template.
  2. While Step #1 above is in process, the faculty member should use the CIM system to create the program proposal or program change. Once the prospectus is approved through online ACUE review, the prospectus will need to be attached to the program. The user guides will walk faculty through the process step-by-step. https://cim.psu.edu/user-guides/program-management/
