Prior to Your NSO

• Complete your Pre-Registration Activity Guide
  You won't be able to schedule your classes until you complete your Pre-Registration Activity Guide, which lets you update contact info and agree to conduct business electronically. A Financial Responsibility hold will remain on your account until you have completed the Pre-Registration Activity Guide. The Pre-Registration Activity Guide can be found on the To Do List in LionPATH.
• Complete your Major Preferences Activity Guide
  You won't be able to schedule your classes until you complete your Major Preferences Activity Guide, which lets you share the majors you’re considering (this is not officially declaring your major). A hold will remain on your account until you have completed the Major Preferences Activity Guide. The Pre-Registration Activity Guide can be found on the To Do List in LionPATH.
• Review the Suggested Academic Plan for Your Major on the Bulletin
  Suggested Academic Plans are eight-semester guides for all majors at Penn States. You should review the Suggested Academic Plan for any majors you’re considering prior to your NSO.

You can find the Suggested Academic Plan for your major on the Bulletin following the instructions below:

• If you plan to graduate from University Park, select University Park using the Campus filter on the right-hand side. Then, select your program from the list.
• If you plan to graduate from Harrisburg, select Harrisburg using the College filter on the right-hand side. Then, select your program from the list.
• If you plan to graduate from another Penn State campus, select the appropriate campus using the Campus filter on the right-hand side. Then, select your program from the list.
