Couple pledges $7.3 million to create honors scholarships at Penn State

Penn State Harrisburg alumnus Steven Overly and his wife, Donna, have made a $7.3 million estate commitment to Penn State that will establish the Overly Scholars Program at Penn State Harrisburg and in the Schreyer Honors College, creating full-tuition scholarships and enhanced educational experiences for high-achieving students.

Energy Law and Policy webinars to focus on Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative

Penn State’s Center for Energy Law and Policy is hosting a series of webinars this semester focusing on the economic, human health, legal and industry aspects of Pennsylvania joining the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI), an agreement among almost a dozen states in the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic regions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions from electric power plants. The webinars, which are free and open to the public, will be held at noon on Fridays via Zoom. Registration is required.

9/22: COVID-19 dashboard updated with preliminary results from weekend testing

Penn State has updated its public COVID-19 dashboard with the University's on-demand testing and random testing results from tests administered during the period of Sept. 18 to 20, as well as new University testing results from the prior week. These numbers are evolving as many test results are still pending, which will then be validated and uploaded.
