Meet the Firms

  • September 19, 2018
  • 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.

"Meet the Firms" is a career fair and networking event held in Penn State Harrisburg's Student Center in the CUB, which is specifically geared towards accounting students of all class years. Firm representatives will be in attendance to provide you with information regarding their organization, hiring needs and requirements for full-time and internship opportunities.

IST Pro Expo

  • September 10, 2018
  • 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

The event, held at the Nittany Lion Inn in State College, allows you to access potential employers who are looking specifically to recruit students in the College of IST for internships, co-ops, and full-time positions. Leverage this opportunity to network and jump-start your career!

There is no registration to attend this fair. Students simply need to bring their Penn State student ID with them to the registration table the day of the event in order to participate.

Fall Career Days

  • September 11-14, 2018
  • 11:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This large University-wide event is open to all students in all majors. Held annually in the Bryce Jordan Center at University Park campus, Fall Career Days spans three days of recruiting targeting full-time and internship/co-op positions. Some organizations may request interviews to be held with candidates during the event. Organizations will inform candidates about the location of interviews.

ALL Majors Internship & Job Fair (CRIF)

10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Over 80 employers with internship, part-time, and full-time opportunities for all industries. Employers will be recruiting for immediate needs (fall) as well as for spring and even summer. Each company participating in the fair will be hosting an on-campus interview following the fair, so don’t miss this important event to help secure your interview spot. All majors and ages welcome! Held in the Capital Union Building (CUB), Penn State Harrisburg.

School of Science, Engineering and Technology Career Fair

October 3, 2018
1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.

This fair is hosted by the Penn State Harrisburg School of Science, Engineering and Technology in the Capital Union Building (CUB), Penn State Harrisburg. Meet with employer representatives recruiting for both full-time and internship positions. Firms participating are interested in speaking with students of all class years. Individual interviews may be conducted on campus the following day or off campus at business locations. The participating companies are primarily located in Pennsylvania and the Mid-Atlantic region, but several of them have national and international offices.

WestPACS Job & Internship Fair

October 10, 2018
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

The WestPACS Job Fair, held at the Monroeville Convention Center (Business 22 and Monroeville Mall), offers employers with entry-level, internship and co-op positions an opportunity to meet in one central location with alumni, graduating students and underclassmen from 44 colleges in Western Pennsylvania. Penn State students and alumni are welcome to attend as walk-ins. Walk-in registration is available at the door for a fee of $10.00 (cash only). Pre-registration is not available. Professional attire is required for admission to the job fair and children are not permitted.

Graduate and Professional School Week

October 23-25, 2018
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Students interested in attending graduate school should come to Graduate and Professional School Week at the HUB-Robeson Center Alumni Hall at University Park to meet with representatives of various graduate schools from around the country.

October 23: Law School Day

October 24: Medical School and Health-Related Programs Day
October 25: Graduate School Day (all programs)

Nursing Career Fair

November 5, 2018
11 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Connect with employers recruiting for all levels of nursing! Registration is required to participate and students may learn more in October at the website below.  This event is sponsored by the School of Nursing and Career Services. Held at Penn State University, State College, PA in the HUB, Heritage Hall.

IMPACT Fair: Community Agency Recreation Education

February 20, 2019 (at University Park)
11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

Held at Penn State University, HUB Alumni Hall, University Park. This fair brings you the opportunity to give back to meaningful organizations through full-time positions, internships, summer jobs, and volunteering. Open to students of all ages in all majors, this fair will connect you with government/legal agencies, camps, rehabilitations and therapy centers, educational institutions, hospitals/clinics/treatment centers, hotels and resorts, non-profit agencies, parks, and restaurants.

Spring Career Days

February 5 & 6, 2019
11 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This large University-wide event is open to all students in all majors. Government Job and Internship Fair

February 5 & 7, 2019
11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

This fair is held in the Olmsted Building Lobby at Penn State Harrisburg. The event will feature different employers on each day. This is an excellent opportunity to meet with recruiters from some of the departments and agencies of federal, state and county governments. Internships and full-time positions will be represented for all majors. Students of all ages and majors are encouraged to attend! Dress in professional attire and bring your resumes to network with recruiters!

Central Pennsylvania Employment Consortium (CPEC) Job/Intern Fair

February 19, 2019
10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Co-sponsored by Penn State Harrisburg, and sixteen other colleges and universities. Over 100 companies and organizations recruiting for full-time, co-op and internships. Held at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center, Camp Hill, PA.

Teacher Recruitment Day (TRD)

March 12, 2019
9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (Open Format) and 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Closed Format)

Held in Marauder Court of the Student Memorial Center (SMC) at Millersville University. Sponsored by Penn State Harrisburg and 10 other Central PA colleges, this job fair is an opportunity for education majors who are seeking teaching positions to meet with school district representatives from across the nation.

Please note that the fair will feature an Open Format from 9 am - 1 pm to facilitate candidate screenings and mini-interviews. All candidates are welcomed. This will be followed by a Closed Format from 1 pm - 3 pm in which full interviews and additional mini-interviews will take place by invitation only.

Penn State Education Career Day

March 26, 2018
9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Teacher candidates looking for employment are encouraged to attend the Education Career Day held at Penn State University, PA (Penn Stater Conference Center). The open fair hours are 9am-12 Noon with interviews taking place from 10am-4:30pm. The event is open to all candidates. PSU students/alumni may attend beginning at 8am; non-PSU candidates may attend beginning at 10am.

Health and Human Services Job and Internship Fair

Thursday, April 18, 2018 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

Held in the Thompson Gymnasium on the campus of Elizabethtown College.  Meet with employers in the Health and Human Services arenas recruiting for both internships and full-time career opportunities. Employers typically seek all majors, even those outside of the Health and Human Services field such as business and IST. No registration required with PSU Harrisburg.
