Penn State Harrisburg will present an Academic Perspective on Currents Events panel titled “The West Coast Shipping Strikes and Supply Chain Issues” on Wednesday, April 1, from noon to 1:30 p.m. in the Olmsted Building Gallery Lounge on campus.
The discussion will focus on the effects of the recent West Coast shipping strikes on supply chain management.
Dr. Chiara Sabina, associate professor of social sciences in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Behavioral Sciences and Education, has received a research-based Fulbright Fellowship for the 2015-16 academic year.
The Penn State Harrisburg Lion Ambassadors will host their annual community egg hunt for children 10 years of age and under on April 2. Registration will begin at 5 p.m. in the Olmsted Building main lobby, and the egg hunt will begin at 5:30 p.m. on campus. The event is free and open to the community.

The Penn State Board of Trustees today approved final plans and authorized the expenditure of funds for a new Student Enrichment Center at Penn State Harrisburg that will house space for key new and existing student services.

Penn State Harrisburg will host an Undergraduate Open House on Saturday, March 28 at 9 a.m. in the Capital Union Building.
The event will present information to prospective students about the college’s more than 30 bachelor’s degree programs and options for completing the first two years of study leading to more than 160 undergraduate majors offered throughout Penn State.
