Penn State released its preliminary coronavirus testing results for the period of Sept. 18 to 24 on its COVID-19 dashboard today (Sept. 25). Among students tested at the University Park campus whose test results have been received, Penn State received 418 positive results from its on-demand testing and 19 positive results from its random testing program.
Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Public Affairs will host a panel discussion on the ongoing debates around Pennsylvania’s election law and potential vulnerabilities and consequences of those vulnerabilities heading into the 2020 presidential election. The discussion will be held from 5 to 6:15 p.m. Sept. 29 via Zoom.
Penn State Harrisburg alumnus Steven Overly and his wife, Donna, have made a $7.3 million estate commitment to Penn State that will establish the Overly Scholars Program at Penn State Harrisburg and in the Schreyer Honors College, creating full-tuition scholarships and enhanced educational experiences for high-achieving students.
