Raffy R. Luquis, interim director of the School of Behavioral Sciences and Education and professor of biobehavioral health at Penn State Harrisburg, will be awarded the Distinguished Fellow Award from the Society for Public Health Education during the organization’s annual conference in April.

Roderick Lee, associate professor of information systems at Penn State Harrisburg and affiliate associate professor of higher education at University Park, was recently elected the inaugural chair of the advisory council and named as a board member for The PhD Project Association, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating access and opportunities for economically disadvantaged, underrepresented and underserved communities to pursue doctoral degrees.
Penn State Harrisburg has announced leadership for two new initiatives enhancing the college’s commitment to global engagement and creating an inclusive learning experience at the college. Juliette Tolay will lead the college’s Global Engagement Office, and Cynthia Daniels will serve as director of the Inclusive Excellence Center.
