Penn State Harrisburg residence halls renamed

Ten residence halls at Penn State Harrisburg are being renamed as recommended by the Facilities Naming Committee and presented to the Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning.

The residence halls, formerly numeric names, now share names with bodies of water that connect to the Susquehanna River, which runs adjacent to campus.

Spring 2015 commencement: share the moment through social media

Penn State Harrisburg will hold its spring commencement on Sunday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the Giant Center, Hershey.  More than 785 degrees will be conferred at the ceremony.

James R. Hoehn of PNC Bank to deliver spring commencement keynote

Penn State Harrisburg will hold its spring commencement on Sunday, May 10 at 9:30 a.m. at the Giant Center, Hershey, Pennsylvania.  More than 785 degrees will be conferred at the ceremony.

James R. Hoehn, regional president of the Central Pennsylvania region for PNC Bank, will deliver the keynote address.  As regional president, Hoehn is responsible for overseeing all business and management with an emphasis on the wealth management and corporate banking businesses.

Penn State Harrisburg student featured in film detailing the rise of LGBT in Vietnam

Penn State Harrisburg graduate student, Tam Nguyen, of Vietnam is featured in the documentary film, "Red Over The Rainbow," detailing the rise of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender (LGBT) community in Vietnam.  The film will have its U.S. premiere on Thursday, April 30 at 11:30 a.m. and 6 p.m., at Penn State Harrisburg, in the Oliver LaGrone Cultural Arts Center - W132 Olmsted Building.
