Penn State Harrisburg's Teacher Education Program is accredited by the Association for Advancing Quality in Educator Preparation. 
All certification programs and endorsements/certificates are approved by the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE). Specific programs are also recognized by other accrediting bodies including the National Council for the Social Studies (NCSS), the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM).
