Practicum and Internship are cornerstone experiences in clinical psychology programs. Masters students work as clinicians in the community, treating clients in individual, couple, or group therapies in addition to providing psychoeducation workshops and educational/intellectual assessment and testing. During this time, students receive supervision and training from an on-site supervisor.
Penn State Harrisburg students have formed strong connections with a variety of practicum and internship placements over the years, most of which are within a 30-minute drive of campus.
