MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Seven Penn State Harrisburg student-athletes have been named to the United East All-Sportsmanship Team for their respective sports. They were recognized by the conference for the example they set for their programs during the spring season. Penn State Harrisburg 2024 United East Spring All-Sportsmanship selections include:
- Baseball - Drew Sassaman
- Men's Golf - Gavin Fegley
- Softball - Rylee Martinez
- Men's Tennis - Damir Cuturic
- Women's Tennis - Olivia Bandini
- Men's Outdoor Track & Field - Angad Bhullar
- Women's Outdoor Track & Field - Steph Reider
The United East All-Sportsmanship Team recognizes student-athletes who epitomize the ideals of sportsmanship. Student-athletes selected to the All-Sportsmanship Team demonstrated fair play, graciousness in victory, and respectfulness in defeat. Each individual was chosen by their coach as a representative who embodies the Division III spirit.
These student athletes were chosen because they are ambassadors for their teams; galvanize their teammates toward their goals; and exhibit respect for themselves, teammates, coaches, opponents, officials, spectators and the greater campus community.
