MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — The Penn State Harrisburg Office of Veterans Affairs will host an event to celebrate veterans at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, on Vartan Plaza.

The ceremony will honor veterans “past, present, future and fallen.” The special guest speaker will be Yvonne Duncan, friend of the college, who enlisted in the U.S. Air Force at Olmsted Air Force Base in 1963. Duncan will share her story, including her participation in Operation Babylift at the end of the Vietnam War.

The event is free and open to the public. It also will be livestreamed at this link.

Lunch will follow in the Morrison Gallery in the Madlyn L. Hanes Library.
