Since I have been in the Public Policy program, I have had the advantage of each professor having a varied working knowledge within several facets of politics. This has proven to be a key asset in obtaining the crucial tools providing the building blocks that employers are looking for. It's nice to put in all of this hard work and in the end the program does work for you.

The Public Policy program gave me the necessary tools to work and succeed in the public policy field. Classes were taught by lobbyists, current and former elected officials, grassroots organizers, public relations professionals as well as researchers who gave me a well-rounded learning experience. Furthermore, the program helps students get that critical internship experience that employers are looking for. For anyone interested in becoming totally immersed in politics and government, I cannot recommend the Public Policy program at Penn State Harrisburg enough.
