The master’s in health administration program shares many of the same goals and experiences as the undergraduate program, but focuses on developing the skills of leadership and management in the healthcare context. The program begins with an overview of the healthcare landscape in Health Systems Organization (HADM 539). Here students of all backgrounds discover the resources, policy issues, institutions, technology, and innovations of the American healthcare systems. Case studies form the foundations of achieving the learning objectives in Health Administrative Policy Formation (HADM 540). Specific forms of economic evaluations of healthcare policies are introduced in Health Economics and Policy (HADM 541).
