The Penn State Harrisburg Award is offered annually to first-time, first-year undergraduate students. Transfer students are not eligible to receive the award.
There is no additional application to be considered for the Penn State Harrisburg Award. We evaluate students for this award based on your admission and financial aid information.
Award Eligibility
- Students must have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file and demonstrate financial need.
- First-year, first-time undergraduate students must:
- Be admitted to Penn State Harrisburg
- Be a resident of Pennsylvania
- Be a U.S. Citizen or permanent resident
Award Renewal Criteria
You must meet the following award criteria every year to continue receiving the award:
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year and have demonstrated financial need.
- Be enrolled full-time (12 credits or more) at Penn State Harrisburg
- Maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher
At any time during the academic year your award will be canceled if:
- You change your campus to any campus other than Penn State Harrisburg.
- You receive the University grant-in-aid discount as the child of a Penn State employee.
