The complexity of healthcare delivery systems – varying levels of care, technological and regulatory changes, focus on preventative care, special projects, teamwork, and more – demands effective organizational operations. The goal of this 12-credit certificate program is to better prepare healthcare professionals with those contemporary skills and concepts necessary for the effective and efficient management of the healthcare operations while delivering high-quality, appropriate care. Students will learn to analyze, develop, and implement those functions related to producing and delivering services, managing projects, reducing waste, improving process, and sourcing materials in a healthcare setting.
