This curriculum is designed for working healthcare professionals. Successful applicants will normally have, before the start of their first semester, at least two years' post baccalaureate work experience in healthcare management, healthcare operations, supply chain management, or a closely allied field.
The applicant's baccalaureate degree should be in business, engineering, economics, information sciences, or a related field and the applicant should have completed a college-level course in microeconomic principles with a course in supply chain management and/or operations management strongly recommended. A minimum undergraduate GPA of 2.8 is required unless the student has earned a graduate degree from an accredited university.
Ideally, the applicant should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and business statistics, plus a basic understanding of accounting principles.
