William Doan, Penn State Laureate for the 2019-20 academic year, will present his work titled “The Anxiety Project,” at Penn State Harrisburg on Tuesday, Nov. 5 at 11:30 a.m. in the Olmsted Building auditorium (C213).
This year’s Penn State Harrisburg Reads book is “Just Mercy” by Bryan Stevenson. In keeping with the book’s themes of justice and mercy, the program will host a panel discussion on Thursday, November 7 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Olmsted Gallery Lounge (W107) that will explore the long-term effects of parental incarceration on children.
Derreck Kayongo, a successful entrepreneur, former CEO, and renowned human rights activist, will visit Penn State Harrisburg at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 7, in the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre (SEC Building) to present his journey of survival, social entrepreneurship, and humanitarianism.
The Penn State Harrisburg School of Business Administration has announced John Hubley as the school’s first sales executive-in-residence. Hubley has over 25 years of experience in corporate health care sales and marketing.
