Publishing celebration honors college faculty and staff

Penn State Harrisburg faculty and staff discussed their works, published during the past year, recently at the college’s annual Creativity, Publishing, and Book Signing Celebration. 

The event honored college community members and their collaborators whose recent works include publications on art, politics, education, culture and diversity. 

The event was hosted by the Office of Research and Outreach.

Penn State Harrisburg awarded funding to help fight heroin and opiate abuse in Dauphin County

Penn State Harrisburg has been awarded $77,250 from the Dauphin County Commissioners to develop a website that would provide streamlined information on heroin and opiate prevention and treatment services in Dauphin County.  The project, in partnership with Dauphin County Drug & Alcohol Services, will make it easier for those seeking information by narrowing and organizing a multitude of local resources into an easy, convenient, user-friendly format.
