Last year’s Latin Dance classes at Penn State Harrisburg proved so popular with community residents that they are returning again.
The community is invited to join in the fun when the college 3 p.m. Sunday classes Feb. 11, 18, and 25 and Friday, March 2 at 7 p.m. in the Multipurpose Room of the Capital Union Building on campus.
Leaves of absence have been approved by the University for eight Penn State Harrisburg faculty members. Leaves of absence are granted for purposes of intensive study or research that will increase the quality of the individual’s future contribution to the University. The University has approved these leaves for 2007-08.
Penn State Harrisburg Professor of Psychology Richard M. Foxx has been named the recipient of the inaugural John W. Jacobson Award presented by Division 33 of the American Psychological Association (APA).
"Paradise" is the title of an exhibit of 39 figurative oil paintings by Lancaster artist Kurt Knobelsdorf on public display through March 9 in the Morrison Gallery of Penn State Harrisburg’s library.

The session in the campus library will provide information on the D.Ed. in Adult Education and Ph.D. in Public Administration offered on the Penn State Harrisburg campus. Registration is not necessary.
