A group of a dozen or so Penn State Harrisburg alums, most of whom graduated in 1977, return to campus every fall for We Are Weekend, a tradition the group started around 2002. They tell stories, visit old haunts, see what’s new around campus, and partake in whatever activities might be happening — and always make time to visit the Archives and Special Collections within the Madlyn L. Penn State Harrisburg offers American Sign Language I and II, and interest in the classes is expected to increase as the college’s communication sciences and disorders program, which began in 2020, grows.
Denis Crawford earned his doctorate in American studies from Penn State Harrisburg in 2020. In 2022, he became the historian and exhibit designer for the College Football Hall of Fame.
