Students are encouraged to join organizations related to their education and profession. HDFS majors may consider the Health and Human Services Club (HHSC), which focuses on promoting outreach efforts to community agencies and expanding the understanding of the Human Development and Family Studies major. The club provides education and opportunities for professional development in the HDFS field or any other service area of interest.
Students may also consider many other clubs such as those that focus on health (e.g., Health Sciences Club, Red Cross Club. Pre-Med Club), cultural recognition (e.g., Latino Club, Black Student Union, United Chinese Club, Pride Club), leadership (e.g., Chancellor’s Leadership), and recreation (Gaming Club, Jam Club, Ski and Snowboard Club).
