Nakhata received marketing education award

Dr. Chinintorn (Pom) Nakhata, assistant professor of marketing in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Business Administration, was recognized as a finalist for the 2018 Pearson's Solomon-Marshall-Stuart Award of Innovative Excellence in Marketing Education at the American Marketing Association Conference in August.

The teaching and learning special interest group, in partnership with Pearson Prentice Hall and Solomon, Marshall, and Stuart, the authors of “Marketing: Real People, Real Choices,” conducts a competition to recognize innovative excellence in marketing education. The competition provides a forum for outstanding teachers to share their classroom innovations with colleagues from around the world.

Nakhata’s research interests include behavioral pricing, retailing, direct/interactive marketing, and services.
