Penn State Harrisburg and HACC -- Common Bonds
The relationship between Penn State Harrisburg and HACC dates back to the mid-1960’s. HACC first opened its doors in 1964, and Penn State Harrisburg first welcomed students just two years later. The two schools are not only located in close proximity to each other, but also share similar values regarding always putting students first. The Administration at each school felt strongly about formalizing the bond the schools shared; therefore, an Articulation Agreement was established many years ago that still exists today. The goal of this Agreement is simple: to provide students with a step-by-step guide for completing the necessary course requirements and transferring the appropriate courses/credits from HACC to Penn State Harrisburg. By following the HACC transfer guides ("checksheets"), students will know exactly which HACC courses to complete that will be applicable to their intended degree program at Penn State Harrisburg.
