The Penn State Harrisburg Reads program has chosen ‘Everything I Never Told You’ by Celeste Ng as its common text for the 2020-21 academic year. The book explores themes of belonging, academic stress, family relationships, mental health, and racial and gender discrimination.
Penn State Harrisburg faculty and staff Shaun Gabbidon, Roderick Lee and Juan Castro have been appointed to Penn State committees supporting President Eric Barron’s commitment to address both the immediate issues and longstanding problems of racism, bias and intolerance.

Penn State released its preliminary coronavirus testing results for the period of Sept. 18 to 24 on its COVID-19 dashboard today (Sept. 25). Among students tested at the University Park campus whose test results have been received, Penn State received 418 positive results from its on-demand testing and 19 positive results from its random testing program.

Holocaust survivor Linda Schwab will speak at a virtual event presented by the Center for Holocaust and Jewish Studies at Penn State Harrisburg on Sept. 22 at noon. Schwab will discuss her family’s escape during the Holocaust.
