Mayim Bialik, neuroscientist and actor on the television show "The Big Bang Theory," will present a keynote address titled "The Big Bang Theory: Making Science Cool (& Funny)” as part of Penn State Harrisburg’s Women in STEAM Symposium on March 30. The event will be presented virtually via YouTube Live.
As of March 1 (the conclusion of the universal required re-testing period), the University is conducting random testing of between 1% and 2% of the University’s population of students and employees living, learning or working on campus as well as those who access campus.
Penn State Harrisburg will host a virtual Latinx/a/o faculty development and academic leadership conference from 9 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Friday, April 9. The event is intended to foster the hiring and promotion of Latinx/a/o faculty and leaders at Penn State and is open to faculty and staff across the University, including Commonwealth Campuses.
Penn State Harrisburg is holding several events during March in honor of National Women’s History Month. Events focus on diversity, equity and inclusion; history, culture, music, and art; STEM/STEAM; and career development.
