The results of a confidential university-wide survey show that the majority of Penn State employee and student participants feel safe on campus and view Penn State police officers favorably.
The 2022 Summer Institute for Equity in the Academic Experience held in June saw 16 teams across Penn State colleges and campuses, as well as seven teams from regional colleges and universities, gather in person at Penn State Harrisburg and virtually to focus on expanding access and advancing academic equity at their institutions.
Families gathered in the Mukund S. Kulkarni Theatre at Penn State Harrisburg in early June for New Student Orientation — the first in-person orientation gathering since 2019. The event was virtual in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19 precautions.

Penn State Harrisburg will hold its spring 2022 commencement ceremony at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the Giant Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. Ted Kauffman, alumnus and chairman of Kauffman Holdings, will be the keynote speaker.
Penn State's sexual misconduct climate survey will close on April 22. The survey was sent to a random sample of students at all Penn State campuses; students can check their Penn State email for a link to complete the survey. The University-wide survey is designed to assess issues of sexual assault, misconduct and harassment.
The Center for Signal Integrity at Penn State Harrisburg will host the 15th Central Pennsylvania Symposium on Signal Integrity from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, April 29, in the Capital Union Building on campus. Signal integrity involves the quality of electrical signals passing through connectors used in electronic devices like computers or cellphones.
Penn State Harrisburg’s Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Office in the Division of Student Affairs will host a Multicultural Graduation Celebration on Friday, May 6, to celebrate the accomplishments of historically underserved and underrepresented students.
