HARRISBURG, Pa. — Due to renovations in the Capital Union Building (CUB) aquatics center, there will be several closures on the Penn State Harrisburg campus.
The aquatics center will be closed to update the air conditioning/heating system. The estimated reopen date is Tuesday, Sept. 5. Next week, please check the up-to-date fall schedule here.
The CUB will be closed on Saturday, Aug. 26.
O Street, the three bays of the library parking lot closest to the Swatara Building, the parking lot between the Swatara and the CUB buildings, the fitness center entrance of the CUB, and the sidewalks and walking paths in the area of the fitness center will be closed from 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25 until 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28. Streets and parking lots will be blocked off late Thursday, Aug. 24.
During the normal hours of operation the CUB will be accessed ONLY through the lower entrance from 7 a.m. Friday, Aug. 25 until 5 p.m. Monday, Aug. 28.
The CUB locker rooms are currently closed for renovations this fall. Shower facilities are unavailable at this time until the locker rooms reopen in January 2018.
On Monday, Aug. 28, the changing rooms in the CUB will be open for use through the rest of the semester during the locker room construction. In the meantime, the CUB restrooms are available for changing.
