Penn State Harrisburg School of Humanities to host poet Ross Gay

MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Humanities will host poet Ross Gay virtually from 6:30 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 24 for a reading followed by a Q&A session. 

Gay is the author of four poetry books: “Against Which,” “Bringing the Shovel Down,” “Be Holding” and “Catalog of Unabashed Gratitude.” He is the recipient of the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award and the 2016 Kingsley Tufts Poetry Award. His new book, “Be Holding: A Poem,” was released by the University of Pittsburgh Press in September 2020. His collection of essays, “The Book of Delights,” was released by Algonquin Books in 2019.
