School of Public Affairs Student Association (SPASA)

The goal of the SPA Student Association (SPASA) is to create a space on campus for like-minded students to explore topics in political science, public policy, criminal justice, or anything to do with public affairs. SPASA activities include participating in Public Affairs Career Days and organizing Public Affairs Research Colloquia (PARC). These forums offer unique opportunities to engage with scholars, journalists, and practitioners, with an eye towards being part of the conversation shaping our future.

SPASA seeks to explore the intersection of rigorous research and impactful public engagement, fostering a space for bold ideas that challenge orthodoxy and break through partisan silos. Together, we aim to create a community where intellectual rigor meets collaborative solutions, advancing conversations that transcend ideological barriers.

For any inquiry, please contact Seth Wright, SPASA’s faculty adviser and assistant teaching professor of political science.
