Learn about homeland security issues including emergency management, homeland security policy, and the structure of homeland security operations. Grow your skills to understand and support prevention of, protection form, mitigation against, and recovery from, man-made and natural disasters in a whole-community approach at local, state, and federal level.
The minor is open to all interested Penn State undergraduate students who meet the prerequisites, and is most useful if you are majoring in criminal justice, political science, law and society, nursing, or organizational leadership.
