Purpose/ Who Should Apply/What You Will Learn
The purpose of the certificate is to prepare policy analysts, policy/program evaluation specialists, and program and service managers who work for governments and not-for-profit organizations for professional analytical tasks in the following areas:

rigorous theoretical and practical knowledge in research and evaluation designs

- data analysis methods. These methods include, but not limited to, various spreadsheet application, geospatial analyses, forecasting, regression analysis methods, and cost-benefit analysis
The certificate program in Policy Analysis and Evaluation requires taking four courses (12 credits) — four required courses. Courses taken in this certificate program may be applied toward the completion of the MPA program.
