AIMI fellow focuses research on using generative AI in contest programming

Penn State Center for Applications of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning for Industry (AIMI) fellow Jeremy Blum researches the use of generative artificial intelligence systems in contest programming. Blum, associate professor of computer science at Penn State Harrisburg, has worked in contest programming for 10-plus years and is now working with students to lowering barriers to increase participation by using ChatGPT and systems alike.
