UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. – The Penn State Board of Trustees Committee on Finance, Business and Capital Planning today (Nov. 21) voted to recommend the firm of Bohlin Cywinski Jackson of Wilkes-Barre, Pa., as the architect to design the Student Enrichment Center at Penn State Harrisburg.

The Capital Players, a student club at Penn State Harrisburg, and the college’s School of Humanities will present "Laundry and Bourbon" and "Lonestar," two one-act plays by James McClure, on November 14 and 15 at 7 p.m., November 16 at 2 and 7 p.m., and November 17 at 2 p.m. in the Olmsted Building auditorium.

Penn State Harrisburg alumna Jane Leipold, of Harrisburg, PA, was recognized with the Penn State Alumni Association’s 2013 Alumni Fellow Award.
She was recognized for her “outstanding professional accomplishments” and given the lifelong title of Alumni Fellow. The award, established in 1973, is the highest award given by the association.
Penn State Harrisburg will welcome Severin Fayerman to discuss his inspirational memoir “A Survivor’s Story” on Tuesday, November 5 at noon in the campus library Morrison Gallery.
The discussion will focus on Fayerman’s journey from the concentration camps at Auschwitz and Buchenwald to the United States and a successful business and civic career.
Penn State’s International Study Tours provide students an exciting opportunity to travel around the world and learn about different countries through first-hand experience.
