Penn State Harrisburg will welcome scholar Pavel Sládek to campus for a lecture on early-modern Jewish ethnography on Wednesday, April 23 at noon in the campus library Morrison Gallery.
His work analyzes an unknown manuscript ethnography of Jews by the Catholic priest Karel Jugl and examines the functions of authenticity in this and other Early-Modern Jewish ethnographies.
