Meredith Mills, of Lititz, Pennsylvania, is using her online master's degree to help manage a long-term personal care home. A Penn State World Campus student, Mills received her master of health administration in health policy and administration at the University's graduation ceremony in December 2014.

At the fifteenth National Role Models Conference held in Washington, DC this fall, Dr. Sairam Rudrabhatla, associate professor of biology in Penn State Harrisburg’s School of Science, Engineering, and Technology and Middletown, Pennsylvania resident, received the Minority Access National Role Model Award.
Semontee Mitra, a doctoral candidate in the American Studies program at Penn State Harrisburg and Harrisburg, Pennsylvania resident, received the Jonathan T. Yeh Award for Student Scholarship in Asian and Asian American Folklore, given by the Transnational Asia/Pacific Section of the American Folklore Society.

Penn State Harrisburg will offer a new biology baccalaureate degree. The program, which will offer degree options in general biology and developmental biology, is currently enrolling students and will begin spring 2015.
